The concept of 'speciation' has roots in biology, but it also finds application in the social context: 'cultural speciation' refers to the emergence of a new human species after the advent of a singularity, characterized by perspectives, values, and constructs radically different from those of the previous era. 

What role does technology play in this process? How is this change embraced? While some resist the changes it imposes, others embrace hi-tech with enthusiasm, pushing beyond human limits to create new "post-human" species. 

This divide presents significant challenges: how can a harmonious balance be found between the two poles? And among institutions, organizations, and citizens? 

BIP's observatory has conducted research to address these questions and delve into the phenomenon of cultural speciation.
