Cecilia’s Daily Schedule
7:00 AM – I wake up and start my day with my first cup of coffee and some biscuits to energize myself for the day to come.
8:00 AM – I arrive at the client site and start by checking and responding to emails, and by setting up follow-up meetings and calls.
8:30 AM – I am a big fan of OneNote which I use to create to-do-lists and use to ensure that I don’t have any leftover tasks from previous days. I then use it to set up a new to-do list for the next few days.
9:00 AM – I start checking the reports that I created in PowerBI to make sure they are updating automatically and capturing the correct data and content. I usually set the first automation of the day to occur at 8:30 AM and conduct my first round of checks at 9:00 AM.
10:00AM – I procced with my daily data collection from systems, platforms, or client emails to prepare for several weekly or monthly routine reports. I also prepare new dashboards or decks for presenting insights.
12:30 PM – I grab my second coffee of the day and eat lunch.
1:00 PM – We usually have our daily project group stand-up in the middle of the day, where we discuss progress and achievements from the past day and set goals for the next day.
2:00 PM – This is the time when I run the second QA round of automated reports.
3:00 PM – Since I am a new joiner, I usually spend some time to take MCG University courses or trainings/assessments.
4:00 PM – We have another daily stand up for the QA team, where we discuss QA progress, technical issues, enhancements, and escalations, followed by setting goals and processes for the next QA round.
5:00 PM – I follow up on any emails that I received during the day and check my to-do list.
5:30 PM – I finish my day with a third coffee and take the train home.
