A Day in the Life

Alex Puglise is an accomplished Project Manager with a diverse background in client service, onboarding, operations, business analysis, and team leadership within financial services. He brings with him his project management experience which has been largely focused on the collateral management and operations space within the banking industry. Before Monticello, Alex worked at a number of financial institutions within various operational and project-focused capacities.

Alex’s Day

8:00 AM - I normally wake up and at this time and have my daily bowl of cereal and cup of coffee while reviewing emails sent during the early morning hours.

8:30 AM – I begin by answering any pressing emails first and escalating those that require immediate action.

9:00 AM - I attend our team’s daily standup meeting where we ask our manager about client inquiries and discuss any upcoming deadlines.

11:00 AM - Most of the workday is spent reconciling data that is received from our custodian as well as updating our tracker with this information.

5:00 PM - I finish sending all of the emails that I need to send to the custodian as well as internal client owners to ensure that no further issues require my attention.

6:00 PM - After work I usually go to the gym or cook dinner depending on my mood and then unwind by playing my guitar.
